I grew up in Rush Springs, which is in central Oklahoma. I graduated from Rush Springs High School. I attended Cameron University, where I majored in Agriculture with a major concentration in Animal Science and a minor in Chemistry. I was in the process of applying to Vet school when I fell in love with teaching. I worked as a substitute teacher, then took a full-time position as a paraprofessional for a special needs classroom. After a year, I had met the requirements to become a teacher in the state of Oklahoma. I have only taught at Sayre High School. This will be my fourth year of teaching. I am looking forward to an exciting year! I am very passionate about science and getting the students engaged in their learning.
